Antiques and collectibles programme Cash in the Attic features people who have spent years collecting items that might have increased in value since they bought them, and now want to sell them at auction to get money for something specific. An expert values all the items that they want to sell, and the Cash in the Attic team will gather items in the "contestant's" house until they have reached the target amount of money. Of course, auctions are unpredictable and therein lies the game show-style element of the programme. If they reach their target, then they have won, otherwise they effectively lose, since they will not be able to get whatever they wanted the money for. Cash in the Attic has been presented by Alistair Appleton, Ben Fogle, Lorne Spicer, Jennie Bond and Angus Purden. The experts are Paul Hayes and Jonty Hearnden. It is a Leopard Films production and is broadcast on BBC One. It is usually a daytime programme but it is also sometimes shown on prime-time. Related Amazon Product - Click for more |
